Kao Mok Gai is a must-try flavorful and aromatic Thai dish. Its name stands for chicken buried in rice. The rice of this dish as well as chicken parts are seasoned with mixed spices, salt, and sugar. Both seasoned rice and chicken are cooked in rice cooker thereafter. The dish is sprinkled with fried shallots and served with a dipping sauce containing chillies, garlic, mint leaves, chopped coriander, sugar, white vinegar, and salt.
